Frauen am Rande eines kapitalistischen Nervenzusammenbruchs:

Die schüchterne Kellnerin Luise, die ewige Studentin-Praktikantin Milly und Emma, die sich mit Plakatierjobs durchschlägt, – alle drei werden gemobbt, ausgebeutet und gelangweilt, sie fliegen raus und kündigen, und sie einigen sich sofort: solche Arbeit ist Scheiße.

Im Verein mit Luises älterer Schwester Marie, die sich kurz entschlossen von ihrem chauvinistischen Ehemann trennt, machen sie sich auf in eine schönere, selbstbestimmte Zukunft ohne Chefs und ohne Herrscher. Und finden die erstbeste Schnapsidee plötzlich unwiderstehlich: ein eigener Puff, in dem Arbeit nicht staatstragend und nicht abhängig ist, wenig aufwendig und vielleicht sogar amüsant, dabei einträglich. Vorbereitungen und Ernstfall erweisen sich als komplex …

Luise, Milly, Emma und Marie führen vor, was viele sich erträumen, was gar nicht so wenige täglich leben, was eigentlich ganz einfach umzusetzen ist – und was wenigen klar ist: Anarchie ist machbar!
